DENVER STABBING WASN'T STABBING AFTER ALL, COPS SAY

UPDATE

Denver police reported a person was stabbed Sunday on
South Federal Boulevard - but later determined the victim was a burglary suspect cut breaking a window.
Police identified the suspect as Leonel Carrillo Funez, 49, who was detained for investigation of Felony Menacing and First-Degree Burglary. No one else was hurt in the bizarre incident. Funez was transported to hospital from the crime scene in the 3000-block of South Federal. "It was determined the suspect was the person injured after he broke a window after threatening the victim," police said Monday.
