A person died in a house fire in Aurora on Sunday night.
The blaze broke out in the 18600-block of East Bates Circle.
"One adult victim was located during fire suppression operations and determined to be deceased," Aurora Fire said. "One dog was rescued and transported to an animal hospital." Another person was displaced. The cause of the fire was under investigation. [Photo: Aurora Fire]
