BLAZE INJURES DEPUTY IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

A sheriff's deputy sustained minor injuries Tuesday when fire gutted an RV parked at a home on West Elmhurst Place near Hoyt Court in Jefferson County. Flames also "burned part of a fence, damaged two sheds in the yard, the wood deck, and melted the vinyl siding on the house," West Metro Fire said.
"Several neighbors saw smoke and flames and called 911," officials said. [Photo: West Metro Fire]
