CIGARETTES BLAMED FOR FIRE IN AURORA

Cigarettes caused an apartment fire overnight in Aurora. "One victim was rescued from the burning apartment and was transported to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation," Aurora Fire said. No other residents were displaced by the blaze in the 300-block of North Potomac Circle. 

"The fire was accidental, caused by improperly discarded cigarettes," officials said.
