An 84-year-old drunken motorist in a Dodge pickup truck weaving in traffic killed an RV driver near Dolores in a head-on collision Tuesday, the state patrol said.
The drunken motorist also died.
The crash occurred on Highway 184 west of Dolores, which is located in Montezuma County in southwest Colorado. Both victims were male. The RV driver was 49.
The patrol said: "Prior to the crash, the Dodge was reported through a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous/Drunk Driver Immediately) call for weaving all over the roadway.
"Preliminary reports indicate the Dodge was eastbound and crossed into the opposing lane and its front driver’s side collided with the RV’s front driver's side."
