Human remains discovered in a row of dumpsters at a Commerce City flea market "could take years to identify," police said Tuesday. "Detectives have determined that they were thrown into the dumpsters at the flea market by individuals not associated with the business," police said. "We are in contact with those individuals." The remains were found earlier this month in the 7000-block of 88th Avenue, location of the popular Mile High Flea Market. "We are continuing to investigate this case but until we have identification and can then possibly determine if the death occurred under suspicious circumstances, we will likely not have further updates," police said. No other details were provided.
