A tire blowout led to an auto fire Tuesday on I-25 in Lone Tree.
No one was injured in the mishap involving an electric auto in the southbound lanes near the Lincoln Avenue ramp.
The driver reported "a blown tire and was attempting to exit the interstate when the front storage compartment caught fire," South Metro Fire said. "No lithium-ion batteries were affected by the fire." The ramp was closed for an extended time. [Photos: South Metro Fire]
