BRIGHTON'S BRAVEST SAVE CAT AND DOG ON 5th STREET

 

T was a close call for a pair of pets when smoke from a basement dryer fire filled their home in Brighton.

"Firefighters quickly located the family’s dog and brought it outside to safety," the fire department said. "Crews then searched throughout the home for the family’s cat and deployed an aerial ladder to expand the search outside." The feline was located, too, spared by one of its nine lives.
