Animal wardens rescued six newborn kittens cuddling beneath the side of a house in Broomfield and reunited them with their mother. "Mom and her kittens are now safe at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley," Broomfield police said. "Once the kittens are weaned and old enough to be spayed or neutered, they will all be available for adoption." The felines were taken into custody earlier this month after neighbors alerted Broomfield's Trap-Neuter-Return program, police said. [Photo: Broomfield Police]
