MAN MURDERED ON FEDERAL BLVD. IN DENVER

A man was murdered and a woman was wounded in a shooting Monday in Denver, police said.

The crime occurred in the 1700-block of North Federal Boulevard and the assailant fled.

"This incident is being investigated as a homicide," police said. "It appears to have started out of a verbal argument that escalated to a shooting."
