Police in Commerce City stopped two autos rocketing at 127 mph and 107 mph as part of a weekend crackdown of street racing.
Officers across the Denver area "stopped dozens of dangerous drivers, but these two were by far the most egregious," police said. The pair "face a slew of serious traffic charges from reckless driving to exhibition of speed" in 55 mph zones and "their vehicles were impounded," police said. One of drivers is 17.
