DOH! DASHCAM CAPTURES IMAGES OF COMMERCE CITY TRUCK THIEF

A dashcam mounted inside a stolen Dodge Ram snapped images of the thief, Commerce City police said Tuesday.

"We couldn’t have taken a better picture if we had posed him ourselves," they added.
The crook - still at large as of Tuesday - broke into a warehouse in the 6700-block of Brighton Boulevard and made off with $50,000 of copper wire and the truck last month. "He then dumped the stolen Ram about a mile away and fled in a silver sedan," police said. "During the commission of the crime he also caused extensive and expensive damage to the inside of the warehouse, the rear garage door and the front gate."
