UPDATE
A garage roof collapsed as flames engulfed a home Monday in unincorporated Jefferson County.
The blaze was reported at 1:33 p.m. at 7762 West Quarto Drive. One person was treated by paramedics at the scene. The cause was under investigation. "Tragically, multiple cats died because of the fire," South Metro Fire said. "Our condolences go out to the family during this difficult time."
