UPDATE
A pair of big rig wrecks tied up major Denver area highways in less than 24 hours.
A truck crashed off I-270 and flipped onto 56th Avenue early Tuesday, Commerce City police said. The driver was injured and cut free of the twisted cab, South Adams Fire said.
On Monday evening, a flaming truck closed the eastbound I-70 off-ramp to C-470 east near Golden, the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office said. The driver was able to escape, officials said. [Photos: South Adams Fire Department, Commerce City Police Department, Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office]
