AMBER ALERT! SEEK TEEN FORCED INTO TRUCK IN APPARENT KIDNAPPING; 2 MEN SOUGHT

FLASH UPDATE - Jasmin Zapata has been located and is safe, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation reports. A suspect has been arrested, Boulder police say.

Police issued an Amber Alert for a missing teenage girl who was apparently kidnapped Monday night in Boulder in a white pickup truck.

Police said Jasmin Zapata, 16, was forced into the truck by two Hispanic men at her home at 4500 19th Street at about 8:30 p.m. Police identified one of the men as Juan Bretado, 19. "There is reason to believe that Jasmin is in danger," police said. "If you see the vehicle please do not approach and immediately call 911."
Zapata stands 5-foot-2, weighs 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair and was wearing a black shirt and black pants.   The pickup truck is a 2-door, cream/white 2007 Chevy Silverado with Colorado tag AXWL52, large black rims and a green sticker on the lower left rear window, police said.
Do not approach. Immediately call 911. The vehicle was last seen at 8:57 p.m. Monday at Thornton Parkway and Gale Boulevard, police said. [Photos: Boulder Police Department]
