HIGH COUNTRY SET FOR HEAVY SNOW


Welcome to autumn in the Rockies.

The National Weather Service is forecasting up to a foot or more of snow
across the higher mountains of the Front Range through Tuesday.

Berthoud Pass, Cameron Pass and the approach to Eisenhower/Johnson Tunnels could receive 3 to 8 inches of snow, the weather service said. Lighter accumulations are possible down to 9,000 feet.

Denver could see s
howers and scattered thunderstorms Monday night.
