NEIGHBORS HELP MAN, DOG ESCAPE ROARING HOUSE FIRE; BOTH SAFE

 

A man and his dog escaped a raging house fire in Adams County.

No injuries were reported in the overnight blaze in the vicinity of 78th Avenue and Vallejo Street.
The homeowner "was alerted by neighbors and was able to get out of the home with his dog," Adams County Fire Rescue said.

Westminster and Federal Heights firefighters also responded as did Adams County sheriff's deputies. The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials said.
