UPDATE
Violent wind knocked a semi-truck off a major highway, down on embankment and into Little Soda Lake in Jefferson County.
Thursday afternoon's freak accident occurred on C-470 near Morrison Road. No other vehicles were involved, Lakewood police said. "The front cab of the semi ended up stuck in the water," West Metro Fire said. Medics examined the driver. He was OK. [Photo: West Metro Fire]
