UPDATE
Fire destroyed a home Monday in rural Boulder County, the Allenspark Fire Protection District said.
No injuries were reported. The fire occurred along Highway 7. The cause was under investigation. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said: "High winds in the area contributed to rapid fire spread." "Five fire tenders were used to transport water to the scene to support fire suppression efforts," the sheriff's office said. "Spot fires were identified around the perimeter of the incident, but fire crews were able to quickly contain and extinguish them." The response also included Lefthand Fire Protection District, Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department, Boulder Emergency Squad, Estes Valley Fire Protection District and Estes Park Health Paramedics.
