AUTO ELUDING COPS CRASHES INTO BUILDING IN AURORA
A driver accused of eluding police crashed into a building in Aurora. Police provided this account of Wednesday's incident: "About 4 p.m., officers observed a woman commit a traffic infraction while driving north on Potomac at 13th Avenue. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over, veering into oncoming to try to get away. "Due to the driver's reckless and dangerous behavior, officers immediately turned off their lights and sirens. But that didn't stop the suspect. "Unfortunately, the driver made it less than a block before crashing into a building at Potomac and 14th Avenue. Thankfully, the building was vacant and no community members were injured."
