THINNING SNOWPACK POINTS TO WORSENING DROUGHT IN COLORADO

Half of Coloradans - 3.3 million - live in drought zones, according to federal data - and this winter's historically low snowpack points to worsening conditions.  

Denver Water reports mountain snow was off by 4-5 feet in January.
