Joseph York, 35, was arrested as a suspect in a fatal shooting in the vicinity of East Colfax Avenue and North Dahlia Street in Denver, police said.
The victim, Elijah Barr, 25, died at hospital. The men "were engaged in a verbal altercation," police said. The shooting occurred early on June 7.
The suspect faces a charge of first-degree murder.
