Rescuers aided a confused barn owl who made an emergency landing at the Independence Day fireworks show at the Adams County Fairgrounds.
The owl "was discovered tucked beneath a spectator’s chair," according to Rampart Seach and Rescue, and "appeared to be dazed, but with no apparent injuries." After regaining its bearings, the owl took flight - with plans to spend Independence Day 2027 at home. [Photo: Rampart Search and Rescue]
