DANGLING AT END OF THEIR ROPES IN CLEAR CREEK CANYON

In a life-and-death mission, members of Alpine Rescue saved two stranded climbers dangling high in Clear Creek Canyon. "This was a complex mission with complicated access, involving multiple rescue disciplines, multiple subjects, difficult route finding, and nightfall," Alpine Rescue said. Sunday's incident occurred west of Tunnel and no injuries were reported. Golden Fire and Arvada Fire also responded as did the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and state park rangers.
