Members of West Metro Engine Company 10 rescued a dog named Daisy from a narrow window ledge at a townhome on West Cornell Avenue in Lakewood.
"She somehow pushed through a second-story window screen," West Metro Fire said. "While firefighters could have carried her down the ladder, she was understandably terrified. "Instead, they used a few treats, plenty of patience, and some gentle encouragement to coax her back through the same window," officials said. [Photo: West Metro Fire]
