COPS ARREST ALLEGED EAST COLFAX AVE. WINDOW SMASHER

Daxx Rumsey, 36, was arrested as a suspect in this summer's window smashing spree along East Colfax Avenue in Aurora, police said. Damage totaled tens of thousands of dollars - and police said public assistance led to the arrest. "The suspect targeted multiple businesses by throwing objects through storefront windows and glass doors before fleeing the area," police said. "Several businesses were victimized, with some locations targeted more than once."
